| First of all, I don't know how many of you out there still aware of this blog's existance, or some of you've probably already given up on this blog to watch out for anymore updates. Well, it's my bad that I haven't been updating my blog for ages! I guess being always on the go, living a busy traveling life, I kinda neglect this space for a while. Now that my life's more stable, I begin to look back and saw how many things I've missed out in this blog. I decided to pick up my blogging life again but I guess I need a new space and a new environment. ... or should I say another place for me to move on, just like how my life's been moving on to so many new things. So, I have started a new blog at a new space at: http://czekeric.blogspot.com/ What can you expect from my new blog? I've actually plan to improve how I've been blogging in the past, but to the least, I'll make sure there're more updates. lol!! ... and with that, I shall declare my xanga blog to be non-active blog from now on. All my previos blog will still be remained in this blog, or untill xanga decided to cease operation one day or their server crash!! (~touch wood!!) | | |
| It's funny how time flies so quickly. It's already towards the end of Jan'09. But it's even faster when I compared to the time I left KL and went all the way to a totally foreign land called Brisbane for studies back in 2005. Came back to KL on 2007, and now, 2009, I'll be leaving KL again to a not so foreign land called Singapore the kiasu-land for work. Looking back at the whole thing, it seems as though my life is such a Gypsie life, moving from one place to another. Anyhow, really glad and thank God for such a new start. At least the new job will be something I'd like to do. I still remember when I newly came back from Australia, althought didn't tell me directly, my parents was kinda giving me the presure for me to look for a job sooner as. I thought that's fair enough since I've enjoyed myself pretty much then while waiting for my graduation after completing my studies in Australia. I landed myself a job in United Overseas Bank (UOB) firstly as Management Trainee. I would said it's a good head start as full-on training was given to us on all espect of banking operation and stuff. We were then being posted to the various branches for on the job training for the whole 6 months training period. After which we were based in commercial banking department as account relationship manager. The position doesn't sounds as glamourous as it seems. We''re basically "cleaning up shit" to put it more straight forward. I couldn't see myself in such a place for long term. Plus the crazy coporate world (politic and stuff) is not my cup of tea I realised later on. By the way, my background is international business and marketing, not banking. lol! It's been a long search and finally my ex-trainer who came out from UOB told me about this corporate team building and outdoor adventures learning company in Singapore who're having a basic facilitator course and encouraged me to go for it and since I'm into outdoor stuff, I might like it. When for it on Oct'08, like it very much. Got back from Singapore, resign from my job cos I realised I needed more of my own time to figure out things and what I really wanted to do. To cut the long story short, after whole loads of festive season on Dec and Jan, I'll be joining that company in Singapore next month to embark on a different career path. So, I'll be leaving on 30th Jan. Goodbye KL again! | | |

| I'm back from Singapore!! It's been a really tiring trip! Accel Gel
What's this? Energy Gel Price. SGD$2.50 (During marathon event promotion) What does it do? Provides instant energy during sport. How does it works? Consume the whole packet of gel during sport and wash down with water. Other similar brand? Power Gel, Endura Gel, GU Gel Feedback on product. Taste pretty good. Caffeine contend in the pack has helped recovery during race. First time user? Yes, during Singapore Standard Charted Marathon 2008. What makes me try this product? like to try new things and experiment which product works best during race. Will I use it again? Perhaps, if the price is good. Besides, I don't agree with having one brand, i.e. Power Gel, that monopolised and dominates the whole energy gel's market. Yeah, most likely to get it if it available back in KL. | | |
| Geez! It's been real tiring since the start of last weekend. Drove up all the way to Alor Setar for my cousin's wedding and back to KL the next day was no joke! After that, I was asked to take a bunch of people from New Zealand, who came along with their pastor who spoke at my church last sunday, and show them around KL city. It's been a real challenge while on one hand, I have been busy dealing with the contractor that work on my house renovation, on the other hand I need to plan out the itinerary for this bunch of Kiwis. After asking what they would like to see or do, I took them to some of the must-see land mark in KL, the National Monument and the National Palace to name a few. Well yeah, many locals will not even give much attention to these few attractions, but being a visitor to many places and countries, this are the things that I would like to see. Perhaps snap some pics and show them to other people back home that I've "been there, done that!". Was glad that they did enjoy themselves here through out their stay here and the feedback has been positive. Anyway, since I've been to Penang and Kedah for the past couple of weeks, and I'll be travelling to Singapore this weekend, there should be more blog entries about my trips soon.... if I can find time to blog. | | |
